For some people, being an infantilist (or Adult Baby ) is a simple desire to be loved by their partner in a maternal fashion, such as being rocked and fed a bottle like a baby. By many it's done as a way to recapture a youth they feel they never had.

Yet for others, it is the desire to be literally back in diapers. They may desire this for the comfort it gives them, feeling safe and secure, as a young baby would. While others are just purely turned on by diapers and don't care at all about any regression or age-play type things. For them, it is a fetish.

All infantilists do have a couple things in common the love of Diapers, either for pure sexual desires, or for simple regression / comfort ...And regression or age-play.

One of the first things a person feels when they discover their desires is guilt. They feel abnormal and alone. Many go for years trying to hide their desires, wishing they would just go away and they could be "normal".

For the lucky people who discover they are not alone, it's like a whole new world to them. They realize that in fact they are not alone, or abnormal as they once thought, but in fact there are litteraly thousands of infantilists in the world.

So what makes a person have the desire to be diapered, and rocked to sleep while being bottle fed? This is asked not only by the average person, but for the infantilist himself. The person may know when they started being interested in diapers again, but have no clue why they feel the way they do. Well, there are many different reasons and each person is probably a little different than the one before. For some, they may have been forced into diapers as a child, due to bedwetting, and overtime grew to enjoy them. For others, maybe they were potty trained at a very young age, and forced to grow up too fast. And yet others might be into it because they were abused growing up and learned that regressing themselves helped them to cope with the pain. These are just a few of the many reasons that a person may be into diapers and babyplay.

For me, it's hard to imagine why some people are so cruel and refuse to accept those into this lifestyle. I mean... what could be a more harmless fetish/lifestyle than infantilism? Adult babies do not wish to be whipped, or beaten, or such things as the more common fetishes, they simply want to return to a time of life when we were all unconditionally loved and cared for, or at least supposed to be.
